Gratitude at an organizational level

We all know that showing gratitude has been shown to decrease depression and anxiety and even improve chronic disease conditions. Additionally, using gratitude as a wellbeing tool is an important way to build personal resilience and prevent burnout.

It is not hard to predict that having a culture of gratitude hard-wired into the daily, monthly, and yearly routines of an organization is going to result in a high functioning, happy team. Check out this article from the Greater Good Science Center about why organizational gratitude and appreciation are crucial to successful organizations and find out how to create this culture at your own institution.
